Fr. 2151-H* $100 1928A Light Green Seal Federal Reserve Note. PCGS Very Choice New 64.A rare star in any grade and prohibitively so in this state of preservation. PMG has only graded one example in any grade, and PCGS has graded three, with two assigned Apparent grades along with this lone Very Choice New specimen. It first appeared in our Taylor Family Collection sale in 2005, and was obtained by our consignor in our Central States sale the following year for $18,400. Expect a similar, if not higher, realization for this rare and lovely note in 2013.
