Fr. 2100-E* $50 1928 Federal Reserve Star Note. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.A truly stunning Richmond star with deep embossing of the dark green serial numbers, vivid green back color, and bright white, entirely original paper, this $50 is precluded from a higher grade only by its slightly uneven margins. This lovely piece is one of just nine examples recorded in the Track & Price Census for the number. An examination of the PMG Population Report reveals that the firm has certified just two representatives of this number at this level, with only three higher. We offered another PMG 64 EPQ encapsulated Fr. 2100-E* star note in May 2025 for $3,840.
