Fr. 2003-D $10 1928C Federal Reserve Note. Gem Crisp Uncirculated.This Cleveland district 1928C example is a rare note in any grade, but just about unheard of in this state of preservation. We have never handled an example in higher grade than Very Fine, and none of the major small size collections we or anyone else has sold has contained even one specimen of this note in anywhere near this grade. This note is absolutely original and untouched, with great color, centering, and freshness. Throw away the catalogue if you really want this piece, as knowledgeable collectors will likely make our estimate appear very conservative.
