Fr. 1966-B* $5 1950E Federal Reserve Star Note. PCGS Gem New 65PPQ.A collector's desire for paper originality would be sated by winning this beautiful Star. The wet intaglio presses were taken out of mothballs in 1965 in order to help meet the inflationary demand for paper money of the times. The 1950E Series was released after the 1963 Series and the only districts printed were New York, Chicago, and San Francisco.
