Fr. 1951-D* $5 1928A Federal Reserve Star Note. PMG Gem
Uncirculated 65 EPQ.A beautiful example of this scarce Cleveland $5 FRN star, this piece is one of just ten replacement notes in the census, but the only one of that number to have received a CU from either grading service. It is a well margined and embossed note that was last on the market in our auction of the Taylor Family Collection in 2005. Aside from this Gem star, nothing above the XF 40 level is reported.
