Changeover Pair Fr. 2152-J/Fr. 2153-J $100 1934/1934A Mule Federal Reserve Notes.The tenth edition of the Standard Guide to Small-Size U.S. Paper Money by John Schwartz and Scott Lindquist lists only two Kansas City $100 changeover pairs in their Appendix II. We have auctioned two more, and one of those is the changeover pair in this lot. The Series 1934 $100 with serial number J00858804A was misidentified as a mule by PCGS as it has micro face number 3 and micro back plate number 76. It grades PCGS Very Choice New 64PPQ. The Series 1934A $100 with serial number J00858805A is a mule as it has macro face plate number 5 and micro back plate number 76. It grades PCGS Gem New 65PPQ. (Total: 2 notes)
