This piece, bearing serial number G00000002*, is not only the lowest star note hundred known from the Chicago district, but is also the only single digit star hundred known from any of the issuing districts. We seldom wax enthusiastic about Federal Reserve Bank Notes, but this is a note that belongs in the definitive collection of these interesting and now highly appreciated items.
