Uncirculated 55 EPQ.A very high grade, very lightly circulated example of the key piece in the $5 series. Aside from a pair of Gems (one of which sold for over $20,000 at auction last year), this is, by far, the finest graded San Francisco $5 by any of the major services. It features vibrant color, fully original paper surfaces, and only minimal traces of handling. This is certainly the finest San Francisco $5 to ever appear in one of our auctions. A great example from this very elusive district.
