Rare 1953 $10 Silver Certificate Uncut Sheet
Fr. 1706 $10 1953 Silver Certificate. Uncut Sheet of 18. Gem Crisp Uncirculated.This is a rare sheet, as only eleven of the 100 examples printed have been recorded in the census. It is quite likely that most of the sheets made available for sale at the Cash Division of the Main Treasury Building in Washington were recalled when Secretary of the Treasury Humphrey discontinued the sale of sheets to the public during his tenure in office. This is the only one in this collection, and it is a nice example indeed, exhibiting excellent color and little evidence of handling of any kind.
