Richmond, VA- Virginia Treasury Note $20 July 1, 1861 Cr. 3
This Very Fine example has the appearance of a higher grade piece, however a tear at upper left, most likely caused by the note spending time underneath a paper clip is noticed. Also light rust stains and small paper erosion are also noted on back. Low serial # 203 is perhaps one of less than 400 believed to exist (if even that many).
