Richmond, VA- C.R. Bricken 15¢ Sep. 3, 1861 Jones-Littlefield PR60-082 Remainder PMG Choice Fine 15.Bricken sold wines, liquors, teas and other items while also conducting an insurance business from the address shown on this note. The note is attractively printed in blue with Ceres standing in a niche at left and a small eagle vignette at center. Although labeled as a Remainder, we believe that this note was either issued without the benefit of a serial number or the serial number faded away, as the note has clearly seen time in circulation. A rare note with Jones assigning it an R-7 (2-4 examples known) rarity rating.
