Houston, TX- Government of Texas $50 May 1, 1838 Cr. H21 Medlar 67 PMG Very Fine 25.Sporting vignettes of Justice (or perhaps Commerce, since there is no sword visible) seated on a wharf at center and a sailor doffing his hat, holding a Lone Star flag at left. The note, unsurprisingly, has cut cancels in the signatures. PMG mentions stains, primarily in the lower left and right quadrants.
