Columbia, SC- State of South Carolina $50 Mar. 2, 1872 Cr. 8 PMG Gem Uncirculated 69 EPQ.An extremely high graded $50 bearing low serial number 88, this attractive note is printed in green and black inks and includes a portrait of George Washington in the center along with slave-related vignettes on either side. The back has detailed engravings in green ink that include flowers.
