Description
Franklin, PA- Venango Bank $2 Faded as G4a Hoober 126-2 PMG Fine 12.The $2 design features a vignette of Ceres seated at center flanked by a portrait of a young woman, taken from life at left and the state free banking die at right. Two large green 2 protectors complete the design. The note has seen moderate time in circulation and has a vintage stamp hinge repair of a small tear in the back upper right corner. This marks only the second issued example that we have offered in at least the last two and a half decades.
