Description
Monroe, LA- Vicksburg, Shreveport and Texas Railroad Company $5 Jan. 13, 1862 PMG Very Fine 25.The $5 design features a portrait on the left, a green passenger train underprint at top center, and a large FIVE end panel at right. It is printed on the back of an unissued company bond. PMG notes that the note has a small missing chip in the bottom margin replaced with a piece from an unrelated note and that there is evidence of previous mounting.
