Monroe, LA- Vicksburg, Shreveport and Texas Railroad Company $1 Jan. 13, 1862 PMG Very Fine 25.The $1 design has a large and elaborate green underprint that features a passenger train flanked by a standing Native American warrior at left and a simple decorative panel at right. It was redeemable in the "circulating medium of Louisiana" when presented in sums of $5.
