Topeka, KS- Union Military Scrip $20 June 1, 1867 Whitfield 424A high grade piece issued by the State of Kansas to pay for claims arising out of the Indian campaign of 1864 and the Confederate invasion of the same year. Nice Very Fine-Extremely Fine, and lacking the punch cancels found on so many of the notes of this issue.
