Description
Rome, GA- Western Bank of Georgia $20 ? 13, 1840 G20 PMG Very Fine 20.The bank was organized in 1837 and remained in business until 1842. This $20 features a cattle depiction at center, a farmer gathering corn at right, and a variation of the Georgia state seal at lower center. We are not afforded the opportunity of auctioning a note of this design often. PMG mentions a tape repair on the back at upper left.
