Description
Washington, DC- The Merchants Bank $1-$3-$1-$5 July 1, 1852 G2-G4-G2-G6 Uncut Remainder SheetThese notes were all filled in and ready to go with both signatures and the serial numbers applied. For whatever reason, they apparently never left the vault. PCGS grades this sheet Apparent About New 53 due to a tiny 1/4" tear in the left margin. Otherwise this sheet looks almost like the day it was signed and dated. It has been five years since we last offered a sheet on this bank and the number of uncut sheets gets smaller every day as more are cut up to satisfy demand for single notes.
