Houston, TX- Republic of Texas Treasury Warrant $58.93 June 25, 1838 Cr. HW10 Medlar 19 PCGS Banknote About Unc 55.Signed by Francis R. Lubbock for comptroller and made payable to James S. McGahey (whose signature appears on the back of the note at right), this Republic of Texas Treasury Warrant has achieved a higher grade than is commonly seen on examples of this variation. The note is well embossed and printed on bright paper with clear signatures. Pen cancels are present, and minor toning is also noticed.
