Austin, TX- Consolidated Fund of Texas $500 Nov. 6, 1839 Cr. CF17 Medlar UNL PCGS Banknote Choice VF 35.Where "his" would be handwritten twice on this representative, at the beginning of lines two and seven, the spaces have been left blank. This example is identical to Cr. CF8, but "Houston" has been crossed out, and "Austin" has been handwritten over it. A meager three examples of this variety, which is unlisted in Medlar, have crossed our auction block in prior years. PCGS Banknote comments on cut cancels as well as a contemporary annotation on the face at left which is an interest endorsement.
