Mayers & Bro. 50¢ Dec. 18, 1861 Rothert 234-10 PMG Very Good 10.As on the 25¢ note in this auction, the name of the Fayetteville, AR firm of Stirman & Dickson is featured prominently in a panel across the left end. PMG mentions some edge tears that do not threaten the structural integrity of the note. This 50¢ note is plated on page 99 of Arkansas Obsolete Notes and Scrip by Matt Rothert, Sr.
