(Washington), AR- Arkansas Treasury Warrant $10 Mar. 17, 1865 Cr. 56C PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.The state capital was moved from Little Rock to Washington, AR after Little Rock fell on September 10, 1863. Therefore this note was actually issued from Washington, rather than Little Rock, a scant three weeks or so before the end of the war. Printed on blue paper. This is the latest dated example that we have auctioned of this denomination. A sleeper rarity in top condition.
