Selma, AL- Bank of Selma $20 ?, 18? (Faded) G6a Gunther-Derby AO-414-$20a Rosene 292-3 PMG Very Fine 25.The Bank of Selma was incorporated in 1859 and closed on August 11, 1868. This pretty $20 Obsolete features a passenger locomotive at lower left, laborers driving a horse drawn wagon at lower right, and the comptroller's die at bottom center. At upper right and left are female portraits, and red-orange overprints complete the design. The handwritten elements have faded a bit on this example.
