Montgomery, AL- City of Montgomery $2 February 1867 PMG Choice Fine 15Printed with a green overprint and an ornate, green reverse, this is an extremely rare and quite possibly unique issue from the capital city of Alabama. The only time we have offered an example of the $2 denomination from this bank was this exact note over a decade ago, where it brought a grand total of $3,200. This American Bank Note Company product is unlisted in the Rosene reference.
