Mobile, AL- Savage & Mathews 25¢ Sep. 1862 Gunther-Derby AO-333-UNL Rosene 210-2 PMG Very Fine 20.The layout of the 25¢ note is simple, with a denominational end panel at right and a red back listing multiple cities in both Alabama and Mississippi where the note could be redeemed. PMG notes the missing lower right corner tip and a number of edge tears. This is the only example known to us at present and it is unlisted in the current Alabama state catalog, although Rosene does list the denomination.
