Yakima, WA - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 632 The Yakima National
Bank Ch. # 3862 PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ.A simply wonderful note from this Washington State bank that made its last appearance in our 2016 Long Beach auction where we said that it was easily the finest known of a mere seven notes split between two titles used here. We further stated that it is the only piece of the seven to grade higher than Fine and went on to say, "It is, in fact, a gorgeous note which appears to have been printed this morning, with incredibly bright inks, blast white paper and two color signatures, in short, everything a collector could ask for and more." This Washington trophy note fetched $10,575 that evening and, with no changes in this rare bank's population statistics in the intervening eight years, we expect a similar realization tonight.
