Very Rare Third NB of Walla Walla - First Public Offering Since 1992
Walla Walla, WA - $10 1902 Date Back Fr. 618 The Third National
Bank Ch. # (P)9068 PMG Choice Fine 15.A great new discovery from, by far, the rarest of Walla Walla's three note issuers is offered here. The Third National was only in business from 1908 until its liquidation in 1928. Prior to this evening, just two notes were reported from this excessively rare charter, neither of which has made a public appearance since 1992, according to Track & Price. That all changes with the surfacing of this new piece, a pleasing mid-grade $10 Date Back that is being publicly offered for the first time. Displaying even wear and legible stamped signatures, this more than acceptable example will certainly be sought after by the many Washington State collectors.
