Mount Vernon, WA - $5 1929 Ty. 1 The Skagit National Bank Ch. # 12154 PMG Very Fine 25 EPQ.Although it opened its doors in 1922, this northern Washington State bank chose to issue small size only which it was only able to do for five years before closing its doors in 1934. Last on the market in a 2008 auction, this nicely margined $5 exhibits even wear and original surfaces.
