Louisa, VA - $5 1902 Plain Back Fr. 606 The First National Bank Ch. # 10968 PCGS Banknote Very Fine 20 Details.
Large notes only were issued from the sole bank chartered in Louisa County. This short-lived institution opened in 1917 and issued only a handful of Third Charter Plain Backs before the receiver shut the doors in 1933. This moderately circulated $5, which has some repairs and edge splits, is one of only a dozen or so pieces reported.
