One of Three Known 1902 Fifties from Utah
Salt Lake City, UT - $50 1902 Date Back Fr. 669 The National
Copper Bank Ch. # (P)9652 PMG Choice Fine 15.The $50 denomination from Utah is very scarce as mentioned in our description about the 1929 $50. Large Size $50s are another level of rarity; there are just four known, an 1875 that realized nearly $100,000 a few years ago, and three 1902 Date Backs. This offering is one of that trio and was last on the market in a 2014 auction. It faces up nicely for the grade with just some staining and a partial bank stamp found on the back.
