Salt Lake City, UT - $10 1882 Brown Back Fr. 487 The Utah National Bank Ch. # (P)4341 PMG Very Fine 20.One of the nicer $10 Brown Backs known from the state, this piece is sure to generate interest. Two titles were used for this bank, this being the scarcer and former example. The title layout is a favorite of this cataloger as it includes the state name in bold letters at top, a reminder that "hometown notes" are a statewide passion for most collectors. This note is one of four $10 Brown Backs reported from this charter yet, according to Track & Price, it's the first of that quartet to ever cross the public auction block. It does have some rust stains and minor tape repairs but, with its bank title layout and vibrant ink colors, its overall appearance remains quite attractive.
