Waco, TX - $10 1882 Brown Back Fr. 480 The Citizens NB Ch. # 3135Only the fourth Brown Back to emerge on this McLennan County bank. Therefore, a brief synopsis of the first three is in order. A $10 has been locked away within the Philpott/Moody Foundation for many years, a $20 was once part of the Irish Collection and it has disappeared since it was sold in August 1997, and we entered the fray when we sold a second $10 at our May 2000 auction at the Hotel Sofitel in Chicago. This third note has not been heard from since. The Net grade is due to tears, which are small. PMG Choice Fine 15 Net.
