Serial Number 1 Waco, TX - $20 1902 Red Seal Fr. 639 The
National City Bank Ch. # (S)6572 PMG About Uncirculated 50.Another great Texas note, this is one of just three Serial Number 1 $20 Red Seals reported for all Lone Star State banks. It was part of a cut sheet of Number 1 Waco Red Seals contained in The J.L. Irish Collection sold in 1997 and which have since been dispersed. Publicly offered for the first time since our 2010 FUN auction, this is an attractive note with great color and bold pen signatures. Its margins have been trimmed a bit and PMG has added a comment about minor thinning, but it is still a very rare and desirable Texas item.
