Crockett, TX - $10 1882 Brown Back Fr. 485 The First National
Bank Ch. # (S)4684 PMG Very Fine 20.An evenly circulated and quite attractive $10 Brown Back, this piece bears a great town name for the Lone Star State. It is one of just five such examples in the census from this popular charter, one of which is in an institutional collection. PMG mentions some stains in the top margin area and minor ink burns, but these flaws are not at all distracting on this note that retains bold ink colors and strong pen signatures.
