This avidly collected location had two banks, both of which issued large notes only and both of which can be considered as just plain rare. All of the notes from here have been closely held for years in two major collections, with the community's other bank showing just three offerings, not one of which has come since 1971, and this bank showing no prior offerings of any kind at public sale until tonight. While well circulated and displaying a few splits and a petty hole, this note is rare enough so that the grade is secondary to its rarity and desirability.
