Abbeville, SC - $10 1902 Red Seal Fr. 614 The National Bank of
Abbeville Ch. # (S)3421 PMG Very Good 10.A very rare type from this Deep South state is offered here, with only about two dozen Red Seals of all denominations reported for all of South Carolina. It also comes from a rare one bank location, as only eight examples are known from this Abbeville issuer that was closed by the receiver in 1925. It retains a pleasing appearance despite some repaired splits, and displays a bold red overprint and legible signatures.
