Description

Providence, RI - $5 Original Fr. 397a The Globe National Bank Ch. # 1126 PMG Very Fine 30.
A very scarce Providence bank that closed its doors in 1899, leaving just eight survivors currently reported. Last on the market in a 2005 auction, this lovely Original Series Five is most likely the finest of those eight. It features loads of eye appeal for its assigned grade with bright paper, wonderful color, and bold pen signatures. It has also avoided any tears or impairments and has just a series of light folds.
