Providence, RI - $2 Original Fr. 387a The Fourth National Bank Ch. # 772 PMG Very Fine 20.An attractive new entrant to the census of this better large-only Providence bank, this piece is sure to attract interest. The Fourth National Bank exited the banking scene in 1907. This piece is just the fourth Original Series Deuce to be reported from here, and the first of that trio to make a public appearance since 2001. It has close but ample margins for an early New England notes, and shows pleasing color, even wear, and dark pen signatures.
