Hermiston, OR - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 626 The First National
Bank Ch. # (P)9281 PMG Very Fine 20.A great new addition to the census of this downright rare Oregon bank, this is just the third large size to be reported (along with a solitary small note). Even more importantly, it is the first of that large size trio to make a public appearance since 1998. Even our auction of the comprehensive Dusty Gibson collection in 2004 did not include a representative from this obscure one-bank Umatilla County community. This pleasing, mid-grade $10 has nice color and dark signatures. PMG has mentioned a tear repair, but it can only be found after close examination.
