Rare Oklahoma State-Issue Brown Back
Vinita, OK - $10 1882 Brown Back Fr. 492 The Vinita National
Bank Ch. # (W)5083 PMG Very Fine 20.According to the National Currency Foundation census, this is one of only eighteen state-issue $10 Brown Backs reported for all Oklahoma banks and the only such piece reported for this Craig County charter. Tracing its provenance to the sale of the Jack Everson collection sold in 1997, it is a crisp, moderately circulated note with good color although it does have some staining and a missing corner.
