Wellington, OH - $5 1875 Fr. 401 The First NB Ch. # 464This small Lorain County community easily ranks as one of the scarcest multi-bank locations in Ohio from which to obtain a note. This bank issued First Charters only before liquidating in 1882, with only two notes listed in the census, and its successor exited the scene in 1913 leaving behind only one example. This piece is new to that listing, and will enable one fortunate collector to add a new town to their Ohio holdings. Very Good-Fine.
