Description

Unique for the Bank

New London, OH - $5 1882 Brown Back Fr. 472 The New London National Bank Ch. # 4712 PMG Very Fine 30.
This great Ohio rarity is the only note reported from this short-lived Huron County bank. Last on the market in a 2001 auction, it represents an institution that issued Second Charter notes only during its brief existence from 1892 until 1911. Fortunately for collectors, it is a lovely note with bold ink colors, bright paper, and dark pen signatures. PMG has mentioned staple holes but they do not detract at all from this rare Ohio note's overall eye appeal.
