Cleveland, OH - $50 1882 Brown Back Fr. 508 The National City
Bank Ch. # (M)786 PMG Very Fine 25.This is a very rare note from this otherwise available Cleveland bank that is the first $50 Brown Back to be reported from this charter. It joins about three dozen examples of this scarce type and denomination reported for all Ohio banks. It is a boldly printed and well margined note with excellent color and dark pen signatures. PMG mentions pinholes which are not at all distracting.
