Description

Unique for the Bank Cincinnati Note

Cincinnati, OH - $10 Original Fr. 412 The Commercial National Bank Ch. # 1185 PMG Choice Fine 15.
Unique to our best knowledge, this note comes from an early Cincinnati bank that was in business for three years from its organization in 1865 until its liquidation in 1868. By 1910, only $1,700 was listed as outstanding, all of course in First Charter Original Series notes. This note has a few minor flaws, but maintains decent color and an overall pleasing appearance. It presents a great opportunity for the collectors of the "Queen City."
