Hendersonville, NC - $20 1929 Ty. 1 The Citizens National Bank Ch. # 10734 PMG About Uncirculated 55.This is a welcome new addition to the census of this scarce Henderson County bank that was closed by the receiver in 1930. It is just the sixth small size to be reported, according to the National Currency Foundation census, and only the second example to be publicly offered since 1996. It also becomes easily the finest known 1929 Series note reported, featuring bright paper, bold ink colors, and only light handling.
