Whitehall, NY - $5 1875 Fr. 404 The Merchants National Bank Ch. # 2233 PMG About Uncirculated 55.A lovely First Charter five which is by far the highest grade large example to become available from this Whitehall bank in more than fifteen years. This piece is new to the census and appears Choice New until very carefully observed. PMG does make mention of pinholes, but they are barely visible and certainly cause no distraction.
