Whitehall, NY - $10 1882 Brown Back Fr. 481 The Old National Bank Ch. # 1160 PMG Very Fine 25.This is considerably the scarcest of Whitehall's three National Banks, issuing First Charters and Brown Backs only before liquidating at the expiration of its charter in 1902. This piece is a pen signed beauty and the sole $10 Brown Back reported to date. The left margin is trimmed into the design, but otherwise this note is flawless.
