West Troy, NY - $2 1875 Fr. 390 The National Bank of West Troy Ch. # 1265 PMG Choice Fine 15 Net.A deuce which bears by far the scarcer of the two titles used by this bank, as the West Troy nomenclature was used by this institution only until 1905, when it became the National Bank of Watervliet. This piece is the only Series 1875 $2 listed in the census. It's certainly not a thing of beauty, with a large tape repair on the reverse, but it is still a deuce and one which is scarce enough to attract the attention of the ardent New York Nationals collectors.
