Watkins, NY - $2 Original Fr. 387a The Second National Bank Ch.
# 456 PMG Extremely Fine 40.First Charters only from this Watkins bank. Fortunately, a small number of high grade examples were preserved, most from a small serial number range. This piece is listed in the census as About Uncirculated, an old time grade based on looks rather than folds. There is a small amount of light water staining on the face, but this bright pen signed example offers a nice type example of this much in demand denomination.
